The City of Elk City expressed gratitude for Elk City Police Department Detective Ray Chatham last week as he was awarded the Merit Award for Excellent Arrest at an Elk City Commission meeting.
The award is from the American Hall of Fame.
Chatham has been employed at the ECPD since 2008 and is currently assigned to the ECPD Criminal Investigation Division.
Chatham began the assignment as a detective in 2014. He is also a member of the Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC). He currently holds the rank of 1st Lieutenant Detective.
