The Beckham County Health Department will be holding a Community Health Day from 10 am to 3 pm on December 14. The event with be at the Nazarene Church, located at 816 West 6th Street in Elk City.
Indian Health Services physicians will see patients for diabetes, women’s health, sore throat, eye and skin infections, rashes, minor cuts, minor wounds, nausea, sexually transmitted infections, earaches, insect bites, sinus congestion, coughs, pregnancy test, allergies, family planning and more.

Oklahoma State Department of Health District 5 Community Health Worker Alecia Malson also stated that a limited number of car seats will be given away at the event and free hot dogs will be served.
To qualify for the car seat, a family member must qualify for state assistance and be the parent or guardian of the child.
The event is free for all to attend.
