Super Lawyers, part of Thompson Reuters, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice areas. The Super Lawyers lists are published nationwide in Super Lawyers magazine and in leading city and regional magazines across the country.

Albert obtained his law degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1988, and he has been in private practice for over 35 years in Elk City. His practice areas are primarily probate, civil and criminal litigation, which includes claims for personal injury, nursing home neglect, and insurance bad faith. He also represents financial institutions and businesses in civil matters. Albert is admitted to practice in Oklahoma, Texas, and the US District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.

Mark is an active member of his church, as well as being a pivotal part of the Elk City United Fund for many years. He is married to Jacque, and they have two children, Michelle and Joseph.
