The Oklahoma Highway Patrol Southwest Regional Center has reported that a 14-year-old Erick boy died in a fatality collision.
The collision occurred on November 4 at approximately 4:00 pm approximately 1.5 miles northwest of Erick.
The vehicle was a 2018 Polaris Ranger ATV.
The driver, also a minor, was transported by Erick EMS to Great Plains Regional Medical Center and released after treatment.
The 14-year-old passenger was also transported by Erick EMS to Great Plains Regional Medical Center.
The minor was reportedly pronounced deceased at approximately 5:43 pm by GPRMC staff.
The collision is under investigation by the OHP.
The Beckham County Sheriff’s Office and Survival Flight EMS also assisted with the collision.
