Canute woman bonds out on $50,000 bond after fentanyl and meth charges

A 59-year-old Canute woman has bonded out of the Beckham County Detention Center on a $50,000 bond after being charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, trafficking 20 grams of amphetamine or methamphetamine, and traffi cking more than one gram of fentanyl.

The investigation began at approximately 1:40 am on October 25 when Elk City Police Department officers were patrolling near the 5100 block of West Third Street in Elk City when they reportedly observed a Lincoln SUV.

Sandra Lynn Davis was reportedly in the vehicle.

Davis and a second person reportedly told officers that they were throwing away trash.

Harris allegedly appeared “extremely nervous.”

Harris also was reportedly wearing a fanny pack.

When officers opened it, they reportedly found alleged methamphetamine.

A further search of the fanny pack allegedly revealed a pipe and ten suspected fentanyl pills.
